i know you better say that! i met this dude at the club and talked to him on the phone for like 10 minutes when i knew. you know that feeling. OH HELLLLL NO! LMAO! yeah, saved a date w/o wasting the daytime minutes, either! score! how bout i need to forward this post to one of my girls. she is forever draggin some skeez home w/her from the club or getting so drunk she can't drive then he offers to drive her home or to his house. AX MURDERER!!! uh uh. i'ma need you not to.
@ So wise What kind of guys you datin !!! Why would any decent brotha with a whip want his date to take the train to their first night out. Thats shows no class on his end. A true gentlemen picks his date up and drops her off even if the date was horrible.

See Slish...I didn't even want to get into the "ride dynamics" of living in The City. I don't have a car, so if I go out with a cat with a whip, I SO appreciate him scooping me and dropping me home. NYC doesn't count...but again, I'm not usually going out with a dude I haven't already screened.
But I'm thinking specifically about a young guy not in NYC who recently told me about an incident that happened on a bad date (with a girl with a car), complete with insults and injury (ok not literally), and he then had to suffer thru the ride home.
What the hell ever happened to "I'm meet you there!"
wise, i'm with you. dudes can demonstrate their chivalry at other points (doors, chairs, regular ass manners & decent convo) but if that ish goes south, that ride home is wack! and depending on how terrible the date is, he might front on doing that. (its happened) so just to cover you ass and keep it safe (till i have learned otherwise) i can meet ya there, get dropped off if you dont have a car or hoof it to the public transpo station!!!!!
